San Martino di Castrozza is a touristic Alpin centre and it’s located in the Primiero Valley in Trentino.
This beautiful tow is immersed in nature and beautiful mountains that make it the perfect place for skiing during winter and hiking or mountain climbing in summer.
If you’re in San Martino and take a look around you’ll see a proper crown of mountains surrounding you: Cimon della Pala, Vezzana, Rosetta, Sass Maor, Val di Roda Peak, Cima della Madonna, Cavallazza, Colbricon and Colbricon piccolo, and moving a little bit further you’ll take a glimpse at Vette Feltrine, with monte Pavione and its peculiar pyramidal shape.
The undisputed protagonists of this beautiful landscape are the Pale di San Martino. These mountains are part of the world famous Dolomites and are situated on a 2.700 m high plateu.
You can’t absolutely miss Paneveggio and Pale di San Martino Natural Park that offers many hiking trails for everybody, so if you’re not week trained don’t worry, simply choose one of the easiest trails. It will be a great opportunity to lose yourself in nature and know more about our region’s flora and fauna.
